Spreading It Around
This five-character comedy is about Angela Drayton, a wealthy widow living in an upscale retirement community in Florida. Tired of handing out money to her unappreciative children, Angela starts the “S.I.N. (Spending It Now) Foundation,” to give to those truly in need. When her greedy son and his shopaholic wife find out what she's up to, they attempt to have her declared financially incompetent. However, Mom learns of their scheme and turns tables on them - showing just how competent she really is. “Spreading It Around” received its world premiere in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2009 where it set box office records. It is currently being performed to rave reviews in theatres across Canada and the U.S.

For The Crier Tough times may be here, but with Dunwoody’s Stage Door Players, the show must go on. These are actually heady days for the theater, hosting the national premier of a hot new comedy, “Spreading…
Harris Cashes Out!
Forty years ago, composer/lyricist Harris Wellborn wrote an off-Broadway musical which closed after one performance. This comedy finds the now elderly tunesmith down on his luck, living in a rundown apartment building dependent on the charity of this domineering sister - yet still dreaming of making it on Broadway. The laughs unfold when the literate and witty Harris is thrown together with the flaky young woman who lives down the hall. His life then takes a hilarious turn when her scheming boyfriend comes up with a devious plan to cash in on Harris' past.

Gavin MacLeod Captain Stubing on “The Love Boat”
Dear Londos, Just finished “Harris Cashes Out!” and I’m still laughing at the sparkling dialogue and the ingenuity of your script. Harris Wellborn is fascinating in with such an acerbic wit, that would be fun to…

Vicki's Back!
Decades ago, Vicki Sharp played the wisecracking best friend of the star on a hit TV sitcom. The series has long since been off the air and roles for a woman of a ‘certain age’ have dried up. Vicki finds herself struggling to keep her acting career afloat, performing in a third-rate production in a theater in the middle of nowhere U.S.A. Yet Vicki has hopes of resurrecting her career by putting together her own one-woman show. She singles out a struggling young local playwright to help pull together the evening’s entertainment which she believes will put her back in the spotlight. But things don’t go quite as planned when Vicki becomes involved in a scandal which takes her life and career in a totally different direction. From the creator of “Spreading It Around” and “Harris Cashes Out!” comes another hilarious character driven comedy.
